HCL Masonry has a growing reputation for delivering high quality projects and satisfied clients who return to us with repeat business. With a vast wealth of knowledge and experience on all types of construction methods, we believe we can advise you on your project, be that steel framed, timber framed or traditionally built structures.

What’s more, we are efficient at what we do, so we can keep to a deadline whilst still producing exceptional quality craftsmanship within an agreed budget. Our projects also comply to most rigorous health and safety requirements, we provide specific risk assessments, method statements and have comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

Everyone who works with HCL will have a minimum of 3 years bricklaying before they are allowed to work with us – and that is not including the many courses they will have taken at building college. That means you get a quality job and a team able to lay efficiently all day long. Most modern building construction companies require certain minimum qualifications before they will let anyone on their sites and we pride ourselves in going above and beyond that. We feel that knowledge is key to doing a good job and our breadth of qualifications should our versatility to cover many areas:

CHAS | Contractors’ Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

They represent another leading authority on UK compliance, Risk Mitigation and Supply Chain Management.

CSCS | Construction Skills Certification Scheme

A body dedicated to improving standards and safety on UK construction sites, they also offer training on health and the environment.

CPCS | Construction Plant Competence Scheme

This scheme is run by the not-for-profit organisation, NOCN Group and they offer training to assist contractors to work safely efficient in the plant industry.

NPORS | National Plant Operators Registration Scheme

Focussing on a lot more than just plant machinery, they offer accreditation across a wide range of sectors from construction and industrial to agricultural, ports and marine.

IPAF | International Powered Access Federation

Working toward the promotion of high levels of safety and effective use of powered access requipment, contractors acredited with IPAF add that extra level of effective protection and vigilance on sites.
